Founded in April 2020 by Phil Richardson, a long-time resident of the Emirates and well-known entertainer who runs his own events and advertising agency. RAK Rock Radio was born out of his love for music and the need to fill a gap in the local market for an exclusive radio station for rock n’ roll enthusiasts.

RAK Rock Radio supports unsigned new artists in the rock music genre by playing their tracks to their ever-growing local and international listener base. Rock n’ Roll artists from all over the globe send their new releases every day which has resulted in a massive library collection and tremendous growth.

From classic, blues, country, southern, alternative, grunge, to indie rock, you name it, they play it.
